Arisu – one of the safest and best quality drinking water

Seoul is blessed with the Han River, an abundant body of water where Arisu is sourced from. Arisu undergoes tap water quality tests for 163 substances as recommended by the WHO including direct tests on 5 major substances such as residual chlorine, turbidity, hydrogen ion concentration, iron and copper.

Seoul operates 4 Sewage Treatment Centers to treat 5 million tons of sewage, excreta and food waste water in a clean and safe manner. The center contributes to water quality improvement in rivers and a healthy aquatic ecosystem.
